Although we do not hold ourselves out as experts in general, or specifically on any item; we do our absolute best to describe all items with accurate detail, and are happy to answer your questions to ensure your satisfaction.

PLACING AN ORDER
When purchasing, please thoroughly review the complete details of our item listing; including our description, policies and pictures. Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns prior to your purchase.
When you checkout, you are acknowledging that you have read our complete item listing, understand its content, and agree to our company policies.
PAYMENTS & SALES TAX
We accept most major credit cards and electronic payment options including Visa, MasterCard and Discover. We do not accept American Express.
Orders shipped within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will be charged Pennsylvania Sales Tax.
SHIPPING & PICK-UP
Items will be shipped within 2 business days of cleared payment; most will actually ship the same or next day. An automated tracking email will be sent to you after the item is processed for shipping.
Shipping costs are fully set forth and are paid by the buyer. Please include any special instructions in the memo field at checkout.
Local pick up of items may be arranged by appointment. Items must be picked up within 10 days of purchase; unless other arrangements are agreed to and confirmed in writing. If the item is not picked up within the allotted time, a $10.00 per diem storage fee will be applied; and the item may not be picked up without first paying the accumulated storage fee balance. If the accumulated storage fee balance meets or exceeds the relative purchase price; the item will be considered to be abandoned; customer forfeits any and all interest in the item, along with any and all payments made relative thereto; and customer waives any and all rights to recovery.
Customers must come prepared to pick up merchandise, or arrange for delivery on the day of purchase. If you need suggestions for delivery service providers, please ask us. We will be happy to help.
Due to insurance requirements we can only assist in loading customer's vehicles with a signed waiver.
Customers must come prepared with tie-downs, blankets and other supplies to load and secure the merchandise as none will be available on site.
At Birchard Hayes & Company, we take pride in the exceptional quality and unique nature of our items. Due to their unique nature, they are sold as-is. We do not hold ourselves out as product experts in general; or specifically on any item. However, we do our absolute best to describe all items with accurate detail.
A return will be accepted and refund issued only if the item was grossly misrepresented. In the event an item must be returned due to gross misrepresentation, you will be reimbursed the cost of the item; as long as the item is returned in the same condition as when you received it. You will not be reimbursed for any shipping charges.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Upon return, your item will be inspected, and exchanges, credits and refunds will be issued for the purchase price only. Any taxes charged will be refunded in accordance with state and local laws. Shipping charges are non-refundable with the exception of damaged or defective merchandise.
If you are approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at email@example.com.
