Set of 3 Vintage 1920's Fischel Bentwood Cafe Chairs Thonet Bentwood Style

The Fischel Company was founded by David Gabriel Fischel one month after the "patent" granted to Thonet (inventor of bentwood furniture) expired. Fischel, a vegetable oil salesman from Praque, opened his business on June 10, 1871 and placed it in the hands of his eldest son Alexander Fischel who had worked for Thonet for many years at their Koritschan factory.
